Claire writes: “Our new garden is beginning to take shape after many months of living with just grass and a fence. For the first time that I can remember, I am planting seeds. It’s been a thrill that they have actually grown and the next step is to put them in the garden.
The big learning is that I have had to keep them inside and water them gently. Too much enthusiastic watering – or too much rain will simply wash them away. That’s true in mentoring. With the best will in the world, too much great advice and insight is overwhelming. Quality conversations need enough and not too much information, knowledge and wisdom dripped in! And the only way to know how much is to ask them.”
