This month we have had lots of bookings from people looking for quality thinking space or coaching.  And people wanting to do training and development with us. The on site Coaching with Presence day – one delegate described it as bonkers and deep – sold 75% of its places in 24 hours and is now full. There is another date in for December if you want to reserve your space!

It’s been a great month for The Coaching Inn too – since the start of the year the downloads are up 22% compared to end of last year – thank you for all the sharing and listening! And watch this space for some really exciting guests coming up!

A fairly new event for us are the Live Coaching Demos – both Claire and Su have done one, and Rebi is up next in April – we received two 5 star reviews after Su’s demo on Monday which is so encouraging!

Claire has spent a lot of time preparing for the Health Service Journal Partnership Awards finals.  We have been shortlisted in two categories – Wellbeing and Social Impact. Here’s a tiny bit of the story:

The Talent Management Support Network started when Vi Thomas, Director of Nursing NHS England (London Region) spotted a need outside of her main role for BAME nurses and midwives to be empowered to take control of their professional destinies. She found colleagues who were frustrated – demoralised – stressed, disillusioned or disempowered. They needed people to come alongside them and say: you can do this

Because there is only one of Vi, she couldn’t do it all. With others she realised they could meet the masses of BAME colleagues who feel stuck, forgotten and mistreated.

There was no budget to speak of. Vi persuaded, enlisted and generously championed the cause, encouraging her work friends and connections to join her by giving their time free of charge. She scraped together a small budget to commission 3D Coaching to gather facilitators together and deepen their skills in Action Learning. These leaders have taken what they learned and made it their own as they work with small groups. The programme has now run with dental nurses, allied health care professionals and with BAME nurses in Brazil.
