Su writes, “When I have worked on enabling women in leadership in various contexts there’s always lots that I bring away with me for pondering. One thing that I’ve noticed a few times, is when there hasn’t been a requirement to be a particular way as a woman in leadership – not a leaning into a new or different leadership style. Instead real deep permission-giving and permission-taking for the women to be fully themselves. And the significance then of their leadership being transformed as a result. I’ve seen some great joy when that happens! And I love that the permission we each give to ourselves to be authentic and human, is a “catching” thing, as others around start to feel the permission to be authentic and human.
