At 3D Coaching we have been coaching clergy for twenty-five years. This is a significant element of the work that we do, and we do it because it is part of our purpose and vocation, individually as well as collectively.

We know that it can be difficult for some clergy to find the people to do their thinking with, safely. That might be about exploring vision for the next season, or the challenges that are playing out in the community at the moment, or doubts about the gifts and whether this post is the right place for you – or all sorts of other things!

We work with clergy over a long period of time, or in one-off sessions: whatever feels most useful for the person at that time. Sometimes what is being voiced about is worries about what’s going on in the broader church, and sometimes it’s more local.  We provide support for individuals and through Dioceses, and we also work with the Clergy Support Trust.

And if you are a minister, it might be worth knowing that we are used to hearing concerns, doubts and fears and that being deeply heard in the coaching space is unlocking and releasing in itself. We notice that the role can feel quite lonely for some people, sometimes.
