We have a guest blogger this week.  Lis Whybrow has just finished Transforming Conversations. Lis writes: “I was out in Birmingham today visiting old haunts and came across these two seats.

It struck me powerfully all that I’d been learning this past 6 months with #ClairePedrick and #3DCoaching with their #TransformingConversations training.

The hard upright chair is the one where the thinker thinks and works hard in the process and gains new insights. The slightly lower chair looks less imposing and to me immediately spoke of the need as a coach to relax into the process and trust the thinker to do all the work. I also loved that both chairs are facing forward and looking in the same direction: ahead!

Accompanying someone on their thinking journey is such a privilege. The journey is unlikely to be an easy ride but great insights can come when travelling forward together #learning #coaching #forwardfocus.”
