How to Make Great Appointments

Managing a process which includes discernment and selection can be a challenge. A good challenge. You are looking for the candidate who is called, competent enough and has the right chemistry to work with colleagues.
How to Make Great Appointments is designed with you to meet the needs of your particular context and your process and will draw on the results of a survey conducted by 3D in 2011.
Whether you are selecting candidates or bishops, by the end of the day, you will:
- Have a better understand what makes a good process – for the panel and the candidates
- Be asking simple and incisive questions which will give you useful information that connect with the person profile
- Know how to write the kind of report which will feed back into your organisation’s process where that is needed
- Be more confident about giving feedback
