Emma Sterry has worked in disaster management in both project management and capacity-building advisory roles. Emma is an able trainer, facilitator and coach spanning sectors such as organisational, project and personal development.
In 2003 her first book was published – Famines and Face Packs - an autobiographical account of her experiences working for relief and development organisation Tearfund. Emma works on a number of courses as a trainer and facilitator with Red-R, delivering sessions on aspects of security, communications and ‘Essentials of Humanitarian Practice’. Emma is working towards her ACC.
