All of Elizabeth’s activities spring from a vision for a world full of confident, inspired individuals who are fulfilled in their purpose and have abundant life. Her purpose is to engage with people and organisations to deliver a community in which each person is accepted and nurtured. Elizabeth’s approach is inextricably linked to her Christian Quaker beliefs . Her world view is that every person is born sociable, lovable and non-violent. It is these views which have encouraged Elizabeth to focus her energy on conflict transformation.
Elizabeth has over 20 years experience within the public and corporate sectors before setting up as a freelance about 12 years ago. Her roles of facilitator, consultant and coach with over 25 years experience in change management and personal development have given her unique and incisive insight into how individuals and organisations function.
Elizabeth is a qualified mediator and conflict transformation specialist, a Quaker Chaplain in the local prison and a regular contributor to BBC Radio Nottingham.
Elizabeth has an integrative approach to working to create solutions and enhance relationships. Specialising in anger and conflict management as well as being a trained mediator, she works mainly within the not-for-profit sector.
Clients have said: “her style is very affirmative but challenging and stimulating”. Elizabeth is a caring, action-centred and intuitive coach and her clients value her insightful way of getting quickly to the root of issues which they present.
Elizabeth works with professionals, managers and business owners. She uses a straightforward, honest and fun approach to motivate and challenge her clients.
Recent projects have included working with a large organisation to enable conflict transformation and healing; training for a College in understanding conflict.
Elizabeth is married to Richard, a Minister in the United Reformed Church, as well as being a Mum with four grown up sons. She indulges in creative activity through painting and gardening.
