Conflict Consultancy

What would be possible if you could have a conversation that would
  • transform conflict within your organisation
  • equip and empower people to deal more effectively and constructively with the anger and conflict experienced
  • move from being a ‘community’ divided by conflict to one that is bound together in real unity?

This means building trust and actively listening as a non-judgmental and sensitive presence within.

We can work with you through:
Facilitation of Meetings and Process Design
  • To offer a process for dialogue or decision-making or effective ways for dialogue to happen
  • To facilitate meetings and groups.

Mediation
Transformative Mediation is a way of getting round a table with a knowledgeable, impartial but caring third party (the mediator) so that both sides can present their cases, be heard and find agreement. Mediation can develop a channel for healing and reconciliation. We aim to assist disputants, giving them equal regard, to build their own agreements for the future where they have been struggling to work co-operatively together, or are divided over specific issues.

Mediation is a specific process which does not mean being a supporter, advocate, researcher or director. It does mean helping the disputants to find a dignified, empowered, safe route to a fair outcome. It is a voluntary process and therefore is not suitable where participants have been ordered or required to join in.

Anger Management Workshops
Working with groups or individuals specifically to:
  • Help understand conflict, anger, aggression and the effects on themselves and others
  • Develop skills and strategies to defuse anger and conflict situations.

Ethos
Our work has at its foundation a focus on Christian beliefs. The values that attach to that foundation provide a culture of respect, healing and grace that is central to the process. Conflict transformation is not something that is ‘done to’ anyone; it is a process with which an individual (or group) chooses to engage, and a journey that they choose to travel.
